Devil, also known as Shaitaan, is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language supernatural horror thriller film produced by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios, and helmed by Vikas Bahl. It is a reimagining of the Gujarati horror movie Vash from 2023. In the lead roles of the movie are Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala, and Anngad Raaj.The title of the movie was confirmed in January 2024, but it was first formally announced in May 2023. Principal photography took place in India and London between June 2023 and September 2023. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on March 8, 2024.

The movie, which is a remake of the Gujarati horror film Vash (2023), was first revealed in May 2023. A teaser for the film's Shaitaan title was released in January 2024. Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Anngad Raaj, and Janki Bodiwala—the latter reprising her role from the first movie—were chosen for the lead roles. From June 2023 to September 2023, the movie was filmed in London, Mumbai, and Mussoorie.
Aamil Keeyan Khan wrote the screenplay for the horror thriller Shaitaan, which was produced by Vikas Bahl, Jyoti Deshpande, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Pathak, and Kumar Mangat Pathak. Starring alongside many others are Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Janki Bodiwala, Jyotika, Manoj Anand, Hiten Patel, and Richa Prakash. The one-minute and 32-second teaser was released on YouTube on January 25, 2024. The first song from the movie, Khushiyaan Bator Lo, which lasts two minutes and forty-one seconds, was posted to YouTube on February 15, 2024. On February 19, 2024, Shaitaan released two new posters. In them, Ajay and Jyotika's facial expressions reveal a great deal more about the story's theme. The creators released the prologue on February 19, 2024 and Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn, known as Singham, provided the voice-over. The prologue lasts for two minutes and forty-five seconds. On February 22, 2024, a 2 minute and 26 second teaser for the film was posted to YouTube. It features some spooky and powerful scenes.
